Attymon railway station (Irish: Stáisiún Áth Tíomáin) serves the townland of Attymon in County Galway. It is the smallest station on the Dublin-Galway line consisting of a single platform with no signalling system or waiting room. The building at the station is boarded up and used as a store for line maintenance crew. The station used to link the Dublin-Galway line with a branch line to Loughrea but this has been removed, the line having closed in 1975. A former railway preservation group called Westrail had hoped to reopen the line as a tourist line, but failed to do so.
